Biography:
From an early age Vincent’s love for food and the food industry was apparent. His experiences would soon match his passion; and nothing more than the opportunity, to take the reigns of his own place would need to be achieved. But ownership would prove to be just a portion of his creation… community and exclusivity would be the aim.
Born in the Bronx NY, of Vincent and Joyann, both 1st generation Italian Americans. Vincent’s love would be unveiled hanging in the kitchen with his mother and grandmother, while his father worked. And they would soon move to NJ for greater family life and opportunities.
Thru his earlier years as an adolescence, in Fair Lawn NJ, he worked hard in various Pizzerias and Restauraunts. Nearing his 20’s he began bartending in NYC at clubs and restaurants.
Shortly after attending Montclair State University, to play lacrosse, he decided to follow hispassions and left for the west coast. Working in restaurants in California and honing in on technique and learning to love various cuisines and wine, he decided to attend Culinary School at Le Cordon Bleu in Las Vegas.
While about to embark on his externship in Portugal, he was called for the New York City Fire Dept. An opportunity he had always dreamed of. So he returned to the roots of the Bronx, NY.
But working for the FDNY was never going to stand in the way of his passion. He continued to cook night in and night out for firehouses and for events with the fire department and also private events. He continued to work in restaurants, and then returned to bartending invarious restaurants, when he moved to Long Island to marry his wife Kathryn. After havingchildren and later returning to Fair Lawn by chance, he determined he would like to design/build kitchens and consult for friends/businesses.
Nearing 20years in the fire department, the time to take the reigns has culminated and he isbringing community and exclusivity with him.
